medium: Framed Original Mixed Medium Painting
frame size: 47 inches by 39 inches
Storm Breaking The dramatic moment when weather transforms the landscape of Wolfville's iconic Nova Scotia Dykes. This original mixed medium painting measures 47 by 39 inches, framed and ready to display. Created by Canadian artist Doug Forsythe, the work employs layered materials and techniques to convey movement and atmosphere. Mixed medium allows the artist to combine paint, texture, and varied surfaces—a practice pioneered by Picasso and Braque—creating depth and visual richness that single media cannot achieve alone. The piece reflects Forsythe's engagement with the natural drama of the Maritime landscape, where sky and water meet in moments of raw energy. Framed. Shipping: In-province Nova Scotia delivery is a flat rate of $150. For out-of-province and international orders, shipping costs will be calculated based on your location to ensure the best rate for safe delivery of this substantial framed work.
